Those wishing to visit Tsum Valley must undergo long and adventurous pilgrimage. A major attraction of Tsum Valley trek include visit to three ancient Buddhist monasteries - Shringi Gompa in Bihi and Mu and Rachen Gompas in Chhekampar . Trekkers will be able to catch beautiful views of Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Baudha Himal, Sringi Himal and Rupinala from different points along the trek.

On your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be greeted with flower garlands/khadas. Our representative will then take you to your hotel. If time prevails, you will visit office for paperwork. Stay overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Today, you will visit popular world heritage monuments in Kathmandu including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swoyambhunath, and Pashupatinath. Alternatively, you can also choose Bhakatapur and Patan sightseeing. By late afternoon, you will drive back to your hotel. Stay overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
After early morning breakfast, drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola (730m.) via Arughat Bazaar (570m.) takes about 7 hours.
You will drive along well paved road up to Tari Besi along the bank of Khani Khola, Trishuli River and Thopal Khola. It is a beautiful picturesque journey passing through green hill, flowing stream, farming terraces, villages, small market and mountain views. Leaving Tari Besi you continue your drive along gravel path crossing Ankhu Khola all the way to Arughat Bazaar. Arughat is an old market situated at the bank of Budhi Gandaki River. You will keep driving along Budi Gandaki River all the way to Soti Khola. Stay overnight in lodge.
The zigzag trail passes through forest, villages, streams, pretty waterfalls and green valley until you reach Lapu Besi. This is a village mainly covered by Bhotia inhabitants. Continue trekking to Machha Khola, which is a small market with a few shops and lodges. Stay overnight in lodge.
You cross the Machha Khola [Fish Stream] and head upstream to the tiny village of KhorlaBensi and the hot springs at Tatopani. After a challenging section, you will reach Doban and head towards Lauri.Here you will cross the river on a suspension bridge and then climb on a high path to the fields of Jagat. Stay overnight in lodge.
The trail follows a cliff to Salleri passing through beautiful villages such as Ghattekhola, Sirdibas on the way. Cross a long metal bridge and then reach Philim, which is second district headquarters of Gorkha district. Lunch will be served in Chisopani (Eklebhatti). After lunch we continue trek around cliff for one hour to reach Gampu which is junction for Manaslu and Tsum Valley. Another 45 minutes climb up to Lokpa which is surrounded by forests. Stay overnight at lodge.
After breakfast we go downhill for 20 minutes and then steep descend through a cantilever path carved against cliff. Today it takes around 5 hrs to reach Chumling where both lunch and dinner will be served. Enjoy beautiful views of Ganesh Himal range from Chumling. Stay overnight at lodge.
The trail ahead is horizontal till Kwo and thereafter it is a steep uphill climb all the way up to Chhoking Paro. On your right is Ganesh Himal and Rubinala on your behind. There is a monastery you can visit in the old village of Chhokang Paro. Beautiful views of Ganesh Himal, Baudha Himal and Rubinala peaks are visible from the village. There is a big settlement of Bhotia people. Stay overnight at lodge.
You will make a gradually upward trek to Lama Gaon for one hour watching great views of Ganesh Himal range. Witness Milarepa meditation cave and his footprint in Lama Gaon. It takes around 4-5 hrs to arrive in Nile and on your way you will visit Phurbe and Pangdun villages. Lunch and dinner in Nile. In your free time you can visit the local monastery. Stay overnight at lodge.
After breakfast you will trek for 2 hrs to reach Mu Gompa (3700m), which is an old, big monastery. It is only a day journey to Tibet from Mu Gompa on a horse ride. The views of Ganesh Himal and peaks of Tibet are also seen from the monastery. Another 45 minutes trek will take you to AniGompa where only nuns live. After enjoying the view and learning about the monasteries, we come back to Mu Gumba for lunch and then return to Nile. Stay overnight at lodge.
Rise early and start your trek leaving Nile behind. A total of 7 hrs is needed from Nile to Chumling. Along the way, you will pass through the villages of Pangdung, and Thorche and arrive at Lar. Lar is home to Rachen Gumpa that is the biggest monastery in Gorkha district and this is where we will have lunch. The monastery hosts a special school for monks. Rachen Gompa is occasionally visited by reincarnation Lamas. Later we descend with constant views of Rupinala and Ganesh Himal to Chhokang Paro. Stay overnight at lodge.
Today is an easy trek down to Dumje through forest path and cross the river to reach Ripchet. Lunch will be at Ripchet and afterwards climb down to Lokpa. Stay overnight at lodge.
We return to Jagat via Philim. At Philim we will stop for lunch. It takes around 6 hrs trek from Lokpa to Jagat, where we will spend our night. Stay overnight at lodge.
The trek from Jagat to Machha Khola is an easy downhill trek. En route you will see waterfall, scenic villages and cross a cliff on a cantilever ledge. 6 hrs is enough to trek to Machha Khola. Stay overnight at lodge.
This is the last day of our trek. We will make an easy downhill trek to Soti Khola within 5 hrs via Laphubeshi. Lunch will be had in Liding. It will be another one and a half hours hike to Soti Khola. Stay overnight at lodge.
After breakfast you start today’s journey back to Kathmandu that takes around 7 hrsto reach Kathmandu. Your drive includes great views of green hills, rivers, villages and forests. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
As per your flight schedule, our airport representative will transfer from your hotel to the airport for your final departure.
