Every step of Sikkim Advenutre trek takes you a bit closer to Mt. Kanchenjunga. The Trek starts from Darjeeling, where a visit to Tiger Hill will give you the first glimpse of Kanchenjunga. Visit Himalayan Mountaineering to acquaint yourself of himalayas and the mountaineering history. Trek starts from Nambu, a 5 hours drive from Darjeeling. The trekking trail is dotted with monasteries, lakes, water falls and obviously beautiful views of Kanchenjunga. The trek ends with a tour of Gangtok, where you would be able to visit visit Tashiding Monastry, Rumtek Monastry, Flower Show, Cottage Industry and Research Institute of Tibetology.

Day 1 : Fly from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur and Drive to Darjeeling

Fly from Kathmandu to Kakarvitta (Bhadrapur), a small town on the Indo-Nepal border which is about 110 kms from Darjeeling. Our local representative will receive you at Bhadrapur airport, and you will proceed to Darjeeling (4/5 hours drive). Stay overnight at the hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 2 : Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill to view the sunrise over Mt. Kunchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world.

On the way back, visit the Ghoom Monastery located at the highest natural railway station in the world. Back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Darjeeling that includes –

Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park which has the Siberian tiger, Himalayan black bear, red panda, snow leopard and many other animal and bird species, and the nearby snow leopard breeding center.
Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, a training center for mountaineers which also houses the Everest museum' Natural History Museum, with its fine display of Himalaya wildlife.
Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center, a major center for the production of Tibetan carpets, woodwork and leather goods;
Tea Garden and Tea Factory, to witness the manufacturing process of world famous Darjeeling tea.
Peace Pegoda, a beautiful Japanese monastery built on hilltop with spectacular view of Darjeeling and Mt. Kanchanjunga glazing just in front of you.

Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Drive from Darjeeling to Pelling (West Sikkim), (72 kms, 4/5 hrs drive) via Jorethang.

Sightseeing tour of Pelling includes Pemayangtse Monastery, Kechipalri Lake, Kunchenjunga Water Falls and the ruins of Rabdentse the second palace of erstwhile Sikkim. Reach Nambu Village and meet our trekking crew who will brief you about the Mt. Kanchanjunga trekking. Stay overnight in the camp.

Day 4 : Trek from Nambu to Chongri

Note: Dzongri/Dochela trek starts from and ends at Yuksom, this newly opened trek route is a circular trek, easier and offers the spectacular views of the majestic Himalayas falling both in Sikkim and Nepal. Being a new route, it is sparsely used, not crowded and the trekkers can enjoy the total peace and tranquility of the Himalayas throughout the trek.
