The Numbur Cheese Circuit trek passes through rich biodiversity ranging from temperate to alpine forests inhabited by wild life like Red Panda, Musk deer, Himalayan Thar, Snow Leopard and various species birds. Pheasant, the national bird of Nepal, is also found here.

The presence of glaciers and moraines along with the spectacular vistas of the Himalayas namely Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling, Everest and Kanchenjunga adds to affluence of this trek. The trail also offers a close look at the life style and culture of the indigenous communities such as Sherpa, Newar, Thami, Tamang, Yolmo and Majhi.
