1. Mountain Flight:

2. Nagarkot:

Nagarkot at an altitude of 2195m. is the nearest hill station from Kathmandu and is a famous place to see Himalayan ranges and sunrise. A wide panoramic view of eight Himalaya ranges including Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling, Mahalangur ( Everest) and Numbur can be clearly seen. The view of sunrise and the surrounding valleys and forests is also enchanting. 

2. Changunarayan:

Changunarayan is situated at the end of a long ridge which runs well into the valley. It is said to have been built in 323 AD by King Hari Datta Varma. The temple is richly decorated with sculptures and carvings. It is said to be the oldest temple in the valley.

3. Bhaktapur:

Bhaktapur (1,401m) covers an area of four square miles. Bhaktapur which means the city of devotees still retains a medieval charm and visitors to this ancient town are treated to myriad wonders of cultural and artistic achievements. The past glory of the Malla rules continues to be reflected at the Durbar Square. Pottery and waving are its traditional industries. Bhaktapur is famous for woodcarving and the traditional topi or cap. The city lies about 14 km east of Kathmandu. The places of interest include Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the National Art Gallery, Nyatapola Temple, Bhairavnath Temple, Dattatreya Temple and Dattatreya Square.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square: The main square of the city contains innumerable temples and other architectural wonders such as lion gate, the golden gate, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, Dattatraya Temple etc.

A magnificent statue of King Bhupatindra Malla in the act of worship is placed on a column facing the palace. It was listed in the UNESCO world Heritage Monument List in 1979.

Palace of 55 Windows: Being built by King Yaksha Malla in 1427 A.D. and remodeled by King Bhupatindra Malla in the 17th century, the balcony and the windows are intricately carved is a masterpiece of wood carving.

Nyatapola Temple: This five storied Pagoda Style temple was built by King Bhupatindra Malla in 1708 A.D. is well known for its massive structure and subtle workmanship. It is the tallest pagoda structure in the Kathmandu.

4. Pokhara:

Pokhara is tourist's paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with mountains. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

5. Chitwan National Park:

Chitwan has had a long history of preservation. For many years it was the Royal hunting grounds for the Kings and dignitaries of Nepal and therefore was not hunted by the general public. It did however become a chosen spot for big game safari hunters in the late nineteenth and early to mid-twentieth centuries. This was united with a surge in local human populations following the development of anti-malaria medicines in the mid-twentieth century. In Chitwan the visitors can enjoy the Canoe trip, Bird watching, Jungle Drive, Nature Walk, Elephant Bathing, Elephant Safari, Village Tour, Crocodile Walk and Cultural Program.

6. Lumbini:

Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. It is situated 230 km away from Kathmandu in Rupendehi District of Southern Terai (lowland), at an altitude of 600 ft. above sea level. Lumbini has many new monasteries occupied by different nations. The China temple, which is a very beautiful pagoda styled temple with many prayer and meditation cells. In Lumbini the visitors can get the insight into the life of Lord Buddha and the development of Buddhism. Around 62 archaeological sites here preserve the significance to the life, enlightenment and death of Buddha.
