The 12 days Nepal wildlife and culture tour package combines the natural wonders and cultural heritages of Nepal. The program starts with a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley - a world heritage site, featuring three cultural and historical cities of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. You will then visit Chitwan National Park, another world natural heritage site, for full day jungle activities. Next on the list is Lumbini (also a world heritage site) which is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Afterwards, drive to Pokhara city where you can enjoy amazing views of Himalayan peaks, lakes and natural caves and indulge in adventure sports.
On your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be met and welcomed by our airport representative. The representative will then take you to your hotel where you will be served welcome drinks. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Today, following morning breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you for city sightseeing. On this day you will visit popular world heritage monuments in Kathmandu including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swoyambhunath, Budanilkantha and Pashupatinath. By late afternoon you will arrive back in your hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
In the morning, you will do sightseeing in and around Patan. Afterwards, you will drive to Nagarkot. Stay overnight at hotel in Nagarkot.
Patan Durbar Square
Patan Durbar Square, like its counterpart in Kathmandu, is an enchanting mélange of palace buildings, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples. Listed as a World Heritage Site, the former royal palace complex is the center of Patan’s religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects. One remarkable monument here is a 17th-century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Krishna, built entirely of stone.

Nagarkot, (2175m) is by far one of the most popular destination. In the clear weather the Himalaya range, stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west all the way past Everest to Kanchanjunga in the east.
Early morning enjoy the sun rise view and drive to Bhaktapur via Changunarayan. It is also possible to hike from Nagarkot to Changunarayan in 2-3 hours. Day time, you enjoy the sightseeing in and round Changunarayan and Bhaktapur and drive to Kathmandu. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Changunarayan is situated at the end of a long ridge which runs well into the valley. It is said to have been built in 323 AD by King Hari Datta Varma. The temple is richly decorated with sculptures and carvings. It is said to be the oldest temple in the valley.
Bhaktapur (1,401m) covers an area of four square miles. Bhaktapur which means the city of devotees still retains a medieval charm and visitors to this ancient town are treated to myriad wonders of cultural and artistic achievements. The past glory of the Malla rules continues to be reflected at the Durbar Square. Pottery and waving are its traditional industries. Bhaktapur is famous for woodcarving and the traditional topi or cap. The city lies about 14 km east of Kathmandu. The places of interest include Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the National Art Gallery, Nyatapola Temple, Bhairavnath Temple, Dattatreya Temple and Dattatreya Square.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square: The main square of the city contains innumerable temples and other architectural wonders such as lion gate, the golden gate, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, Dattatraya Temple etc.
A magnificent statue of King Bhupatindra Malla in the act of worship is placed on a column facing the palace. It was listed in the UNESCO world Heritage Monument List in 1979.
Palace of 55 Windows: Being built by King Yaksha Malla in 1427 A.D. and remodeled by King Bhupatindra Malla in the 17th century, the balcony and the windows are intricately carved is a masterpiece of wood carving.
Nyatapola Temple: This five storied Pagoda Style temple was built by King Bhupatindra Malla in 1708 A.D. is well known for its massive structure and subtle workmanship. It is the tallest pagoda structure in Nepal.

About Chitwan National Park
Recognized as the world heritage site, it is the oldest national park in Nepal with a total area of 932 sq. km. Situated in the southern Terai of Nepal, the park contains tropical and subtropical forests, which is home to 68 species of mammals, 56 species of fauna and 126 species of fish and 544 species of birds. The park is well known for its protection of endangered One Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, wild Asiatic elephant and Gharial Crocodile. A total of 22 globally threatened species have been recorded in the park.
Elephant back safari: On elephant back you can view the wild life of the area in their natural habitat.
Bird Watching: For the bird watchers, it is Paradise Island with over 450 species of exotic birds of domestic as well as migratory birds. Many are threatened, e.g. the Great pied hornbill, Bengal Florican, Peregrine falcon, lesser adjutant storks, etc. A bird watching trip will be a memorable experience.

Village tour: Excursion in Tharu village will grant you an exhilarating experience. Tharus are the indigenous inhabitant of the Terai. We offer guided cultural tours to meet the people and experience their traditional self-sufficient way of life.
Cultural Program: In the evening you will get an opportunity to be a part of Tharu folk dance. The drummers and symbolic stick dancers perform traditional movements and invite guests to join them in this rhythmic display. Such cultural shows performed by Tharus will be an unforgettable experience. The Tharus in traditional colorful costumes are sure to captivate you.
Elephant Bathing: Your guide will take you to the specific place where you can observe elephant bathing.
Crocodile Walk: One more option is to go for crocodile walk. It goes through grassland and forest along the bank of Rapti / Narayani River.
Canoe Trip: You can enjoy canoe trip on either The Rapti River or The Budhi Rapti River which borders the National Park. You can see two types of crocodiles, the Gharial and Mugger basking on the river bank.

Pokhara
Pokhara is the tourist's paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with the mountains. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
Early morning drive to Sarangkot for the sun rise view and drive back to city for sightseeing in and around Pokhara valley. Stay at a hotel in Pokhara.
Today you will visit World Peace Pagoda, International Mountain Museum, David Falls, Bindhbasini Temple, Mahadev Cave, etc. during your Pokhara sightseeing.
After breakfast early morning, drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu that takes about seven hours. While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you pass through Damauli, Dumre, Muglin and finally Kurintar where Nepal's first Cable car is operated to reach to Manakamana Temple. En route, you will enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and people being engaged in their daily life activities. Leaving Kurintar you head towards Thankot via Naubise. Thankot is the entry point to Kathmandu. If you choose to fly back to Kathmandu, it takes about 25 minutes. There are several flights from Kathmandu to Pokhara from morning to afternoon. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
