If you are looking for a new, unexplored trekking trail that offers you captivating views of mountain ranges, rich vegetation and the culture and lifestyle of the ethnic dwellers then this is just the perfect one for you.
This trail was identified and developed by TAAN western Regional Chapter Pokhara with the sole objective of promoting Pokhara and its surrounding areas.
As this trail traverses through five major village development committees, you will have numerous choices of trekking and hiking activities. One of the highlights of this trek is the flexibility of trekking duration, ranging from 5 to 10 days.
Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Drive from Pokhara to Lachok and trek to Ribhan. Stay overnight at lodge/homestay.
Trek from Ribhan to Odane Hill to Chichimle Kharka. Stay overnight at lodge/homestay.
Trek from Chichimle Kharka to Khumai. Stay overnight at lodge/homestay.
Trek from Khumai to Korchung and then to Kharka. Stay overnight at lodge/homestay.
Trek from Kharka to Gibli, the days trek end in Takra. Stay overnight at lodge/homestay.
Trek from Takra to Imu. From Imu you trek to Kwiwan and stop for the night at Lwanghale. Stay overnight at lodge/homestay.
Your trail from Lwanghale leads you to Mardi Pool. Stay overnight at lodge/homestay.
Trek from Mardi Pool back to Pokhara. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Appropriate trekking gears are not only required for the comfort/pleasure of your trek but also to improve safety factor. Please have a look over these items in order to fully prepare and thoroughly enjoy the trekking.
