Make a gentle climb up the mountainside on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi River as you catch the first view of Mt. Nupla (5885m) atop the Kongde Ridge. Then descend a mountainside path with views of a valley and Mt. Kusum Kang (6367m.).
Stay overnight at lodge.
Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m) takes approximately five hours. The trail follows the Bhote Koshi River on a horizontal path. Prepare yourself to witness first glimpse of Mt. Everest on the way to Namche Bazaar (3440m). Namche, the capital of Sherpa community, is surrounded on all three sides by mountain ranges.

Stay overnight at lodge.
Trek from Tyangboche to Dingboche (4260m.) takes approximately five hours. Dingboche is a beautiful patchwork of fields enclosed by stone walls, erected to protect the crops of barley, buckwheat and potatoes from the cold winds and grazing animals.
Stay overnight at lodge.
Rest day at Dingboche (4260 m.) for acclimatization. There are some breathtaking views of the North face of Ama Dablam and the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge as you explore this beautiful valley that leads up to Island Peak. The walk is short so you will have plenty of time to relax in the afternoon. Another option is to hike up to Chhukum, where you can enjoy the panoramic view of Island peak, Ama Dablam, Makalu, Tawoche peak and others.
Stay overnight at lodge.
Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4930m.) takes about five and a half hours. The onward journey leads north until you come to a Mani-prayer Stupa. The trail then follows a downward path to Pheriche village. Today's walk offers views of the Mt.Tawache, Ama Dablam, Kongma-tse (5820m) and the great wall of Nuptse. After two hours walk, the trail from Pheriche joins near Dugla (4595m) ahead a small wooden bridge over the river fed by Khumbu glacier.

Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5486m.) via Gorakshep (5180m.) and again back to Gorakshep takes about seven hours. Trek up the valley following the rocky moraine path, view icy glacial ponds and icebergs down below of the Khumbu glacier. Gorakshep is the location of the original Everest Base Camp with the new camp being further up the valley. Now the trail winds through a rocky path and the Khumbu glacier. The view of Nuptse, Lho-La and Khumbu Tse appears in front of you.
Stay overnight at lodge.
Trek from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5545m.) and then to Pheriche (4243m.) takes about six hours. Everest and many other mountain peaks like Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbu Tse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku and many more peaks. Stay overnight at lodge.
Trek from Phortse to Namche Bazaar (3440 m) via Khumjung takes about six hours. The walk from Phortse descends until the crossing of Dudhkosi after which the trail makes a 2 hr ascent. Thereafter the trail descends to Khumjung which hosts a Hillary school and hospital. En route you will also visit the traditional village Khunde. Another one and a half hours trek will reach you Namche.
Stay overnight at lodge.
Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886 m.) takes about six hours. The last day of your trek leads from Namche Bazaar via Monjo to Lukla. The trek is pleasant, except for a few short uphill climbs and then stepping down to the Bhote-Koshi River crossing it three times. The last uphill climb of 45 minutes will bring you to Lukla for your overnight stay.
Stay overnight in lodge.
Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu takes approximately 35 minutes. Lukla -Kathmandu flights are only operated during the morning hours, usually from 6 AM till 11 AM. Trekking with Ramesh Paneru is an absolute delight. His knowledge of Khumbu's trail and peaks is both impressive and reassuring (other guides and porters regularly ask him the way). His nature is kind and generous (he sings and smiles and offers jokes and all jokes at just the right time). And he is as intent on sharing what he can of the Napali culture and politics with trekkers as he is with safety acclimatizing them on their way toward their destination. As for the trek itself, the views from Kala Patthar on a clear morning speak for themselves they are nothing short of brutally magnificient. As for Ramesh I recommend him with great enthusiasm and without reservation, and look forward to returning to Nepal to trek with him again.

The toughest part of the trip is getting your body used to "squatting". The up and down hiking, for me, was an opportunity to push my body and mental toughness. Sadly due to Monsoon season, I was unable to see Mt. Everest. On the other hand, the goal of the trip was not to see Everest rather to make it to Base Camp. In this regard our trip was very successful.
Our guide introduced us to many people that shared plethora & stories of Everest ascents, adventures and travels. K.B.(our guide) was strong, competent and very knowledgeable. He knew the exact heights of every mountain peaks pass and village along our trip. Furthermore he could estimate with tremendous accuracy, the distance and times to the next destination.
An overall success and a great experience

Dear Ratna and Tenzing I would like to thank you for guiding me and Lee to E.B.C. You gave me the confidence to succeed in the whole trek with your never doubted leadership. I could not recommend you enough to all of my friends and family who will also have the confidence to do the trek after the fond stories I will have to share of our family trek. I wish you’re a very happy and peaceful life.

* Very organized - they had a variety of treks available and I'm able to put together for me in a day.
* Knowledgeable - When I asked about trekking and the difficulties of each trail they were able to answer my question to my satisfaction. Other companies were answer with vague replies or " no problem "
* Friendly - I spoke with the owner, Nava who was very reassuring about the safety of trekking alone with his company's guide. He understood English well and listened to my concerns. My thoughts about my guide.
* Dinesh - wonderful !
* Easy to get alone with
* Very Helpful
* Keen about Trekking
* Gentle natured
* Sociable
* Popular with the people who live along the trial
* Accommodating
* Able to problem - solve
* Good boundaries - which is very important as a female traveling alone !
* Likes to laugh I had a great time !
