TAAN successfully holds 42, 43 and 44th AGM & Election

Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) successfully organized 42, 43 and 44th Annual General Meeting (AGM) along with periodic election on 15 August 2022, at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Kathmandu.
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Jeevan Ram Shrestha was the Chief Guest of the program that was attended by former presidents of TAAN, incumbent presidents and representatives of various other tourism organizations, members of TAAN and the media.
The AGM and election was held after a gap of almost 3 years, due to reasons concerning Covid pandemic. Following the election, a new executive committee headed by newly-elected President has taken over the responsibility of TAAN.
TAAN is an umbrella organization of nearly 2000 trekking agencies in Nepal whose sole purpose is to develop and promote Nepal as a premier, international adventure destination.
