Day 13: Continue KailashParikrama over Domala Pass (5650m.) to ZuthulPuk.
Day 14: End KailashParikrama near Darchen (4700m.).
Day 15: Drive from Darchen to Paryang (4540m.).
Day 16: Drive from Paryang to Saga (4840m.).
Day 17: Drive from Saga to Kerung via Peigutso (4850m.).
Day 18: Drive from Kerung to Kathmandu.
Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj which takes about an hour. Nepalgunj is a border town along Nepal-India border in the southwestern part of Nepal. Stay overnight at Lodge/Hotel.
Take early morning flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot in Northwestern Nepal. Simikot is a gateway to Humla as well as Tibet. Enjoy scenic mountains such as Mt. Saipal and wonderful valleys. Stay overnight at lodge.
Your trekking starts from today. Most of the trail passé through uninhabited land dotted with green vegetation and pine forests till you reach Majgaon. One of the peculiar experiences is of seeing donkeys carrying loads-the only mode of transport in this remote area. Stay overnight at Camp/Lodge.
The trail further goes alongside the Humla-Karnali River passing over high rocky slopes. You will see typical Neplali houses flanked by blooming barley, buckwheat, potatoes and rice. Once you reach Kermi you will get introduced to Buddhist culture. Lakiyo Gompa and Lhundrup Choeling Gompa are two popular monasteries in the area. Stay overnight at Camp/Lodge.
Much of today’s walk is through barley and buckwheat fields and pine forests. You will be crossing the first suspension bridge over the Sali River. Don’t forget to visit the monastery of the Namkha Khyung Dzong Monastery. The monastery hosts a big statue of Sakyamuni Buddha as well as of Guru Rinpoche. Stay overnight at Camp/Lodge.
You cross the river and climb over a rocky ridge before descending to the grey waters of the Humla Karnali. After crossing another ridge you come to a meadow where goat herders often camp by the river. Beyond the meadow the valley narrows and you cross several more ridges, passing the villages of Yalbang and Yangar. The trail then winds its way precariously above the river before you cross a suspension bridge to the village of Muchu. Stay overnight at lodge.

After you reach the Hilsa on foot, you will cross the border and our meet Tibetan guide. After immigration formalities, you will drive to Purang (3900 meters). On the way, you will visit Koujia monastery that takes around 45 minutes. After checking in at your hotel, you are advised to take rest and take it easy (28 kms, 3900 meters). After breakfast we will drive to Manasarovar, spent time at Manasarovar, allowing our body to acclimatize to the altitude and exploring this fascinating place. We will visit the picturesque Chiu Monastery on the North West shore of the lake with the imposing sight of Mt Kailash in the background. Stay overnight in hotel.
About 30 kms north of Lake Manasorovar is Darchen, the main gateway and the village. Get prepared for Mt. KailashParikrama. Stay overnight in hotel.
Today, we begin our Kora of Mount Kailash, the day starts with trekking from the Sershong and a steady walk with many other local pilgrims chanting and praying. We can see the Chuku Monastery up on the hillside from the valley. Then the trail leads to few ups and downs till we reach our camp at Derapuk where we will see many more Bon pilgrims circumambulating in the opposite direction (Anti clock-wise). Stay overnight at mud house.
Today our trek leads to much higher altitude of the holy path just beneath the Mount Kailash. The hiking will bring us to one of the highest point at Drolma La Pass, and the pass is quickly descends to the gradual field towards Zuthulpuk monastery. In Tibetan it means magical cave. This small monastery is connected to an interesting story of talent competition between Great Yogi Milarepa (Buddhist) and Naropa (Bon). Rest of the night we will spend here. Stay overnight at mud house.
The final end of the parikrama is an easy 2-3 hrs walk down to where the river emerges on to the Barga plain. Today, we complete the 3 days circuit. Stay overnight in hotel.
Today, we will accomplish a long drive from Mansarovar Lake to Paryang. We continue driving past Hor Quo and across the Mayum La pass (5,200m). While passing through, we will have glimpses of small towns like Dongba and Paryang. This journey covers 250 km from Mansarovar to Paryang.Stay overnight in hotel.
You continue driving for another 230km to Saga passing through dusty town of Zhongba and a few smaller passes. Stay overnight in hotel.
At our return journey, we cross the YarlungTsangpo or Brahmaputra River and then drive to Kerung. At the first pass we stumble upon Peigu-Tso, a huge lake with Mt. Shishapangma (8,027m) at its background. After crossing yet another pass, Tong La (5,120m), we finally reach the border town Kerung. Stay overnight in hotel.
After breakfast at hotel in Kerung, we drive to the border check point to go via the custom formalities. Reaching at Friendship Bridge, we will be saying good bye to our Tibetan guide and drivers and will walk for around 10 to 15 minutes towards Nepal. From Kerung, the border town, it takes 7 hours drive to reach Kathmandu. Stay overnight in hotel.
