Newly Opened Trek

Tsum Valley Manaslu Trek

Tsum ValleyTsum valley, located in the northern Gorkha region of Nepal, popularly known as ‘hidden valley’, is untouched to the outside world. Tsum Valley trek is a newly open route in October 2007 due to its remoteness. As a result of it, Tsum valley has retained its unique culture. Since the opening of the Tsum valley trek, it has become one of the most attractive and fascinating wilderness trails for the trekkers.

Tsum' which is derived from the Tibetan word 'Tsombo' means vivid. True to its meaning, the Tsum valley continues to guard its distinct and natural treasures of clear streams, teeming vegetation, towering mountains, cascading waterfalls, unspoiled hot springs and ancient relics. The local people are mostly of Tibetan origin. Even nowadays, they still practice the polyandry system and follow the traditional lifestyle.

Manaslu and Tsum are beautiful and fascinating regions located along the border of Nepal and Tibet. As you walk along the Tsum Valley – Manaslu Trek, you will encounter the friendly and hospitable local people who much devotes to the Buddhisim. This trek also enables you to get a magnificent close view of Mt Manaslu, one of the eight highest mountains in the world as you walked along the trail.
