Manaslu Trek (18 Days)

Manaslu trek is regarded as a challenging outdoor trail full of absolute wilderness. A trekking experience in Manaslu region is unlike any other.  So be ready to travel along some of the toughest trails in the Himalayan region.

The highest trophy of this magical trek is the spectacular glimpse of Mt. Manaslu (8,156m), the eighth highest mountain in the world. The crossing of Larkya La pass (5213m) will afford us breath taking views of Manaslu ranges including Samdo (Pang phuchuli), Nagdi chuli, Simnang Himal, Manaslu glacier and Manaslu ice fall among others. The unique and peculiar culture, custom and lifestyle of local people, who closely resembles their neighbor Tibetans, will offer you a brilliant occasion to learn and expand your worldly horizon.

Do not be swayed by its remote location and difficult climbing, at the end of the day, the sweat and toil you will spend in Manaslu will be amply rewarded with the mesmerizing scenery, amazing wildlife and fascinating cultures of local people.

The Manaslu Trek can be organized for different duration and season. This 18-day itinerary however has professionally packaged to offer the best attractions of Manaslu.

Nepal Environmental Treks & Expedition have been organizing trekking since 1990 and operates terkking adventures in all opened trekking regions of Nepal. Our staffs include highly experience and professional trekking guides, high-altitude climbers and assistants.

Poon Hill Trek

We enjoyed the trek to Poon Hill very much. The arrangements were handled in very professional manner and our guide Krishna was excellent. He handled all of the accommodation at the many guesthouses in a low-key and very efficient manner. He also sums to it that that we ordered our meals in advance. He is knowledgeable of the customs of the people in the villages along the way added to our enjoyment. He also provided some historical background. The matter was excellent for our descent to Poon Hill and the scenery was excellent.

Annapurna Jomsom - Beni Trek

We had a wonderful 7-day trek from Jomsom to Beni along the river valley in the Annapurna region. Our guide, Ang Dawa Sherpa, had a comprehensive knowledge of the region, it's history, travel routes a times, mountain characteristics, and alternative options. His English was also superb. The trek route was beautiful with a varied terrain & variety of vegetation, environment settings. The teahouses were very comfortable and clean. We were pleased that we remained perfectly healthy throughout the entire trek. Nepal Environmental Trekking covered all of our needs. Nava, was extremely responsive to all of our questions & concern prior to booking and arriving in Nepal. We were thoroughly pleased & impressed with the services & knowledge of Nepal Environmental Trekking and it's staffs. We would certainly recommend the group and use them again when we return to Nepal.

Sincerely,
Mike Gonzales & Carol Jenkins

Everest Base Camp Trek

Trekking with Ramesh Paneru is an absolute delight. His knowledge of Khumbu's trail and peaks is both impressive and reassuring (other guides and porters regularly ask him the way). His nature is kind and generous (he sings and smiles and offers jokes and all jokes at just the right time). And he is as intent on sharing what he can of the Napali culture and politics with trekkers as he is with safety acclimatizing them on their way toward their destination. As for the trek itself, the views from Kala Patthar on a clear morning speak for themselves they are nothing short of brutally magnificient. As for Ramesh I recommend him with great enthusiasm and without reservation, and look forward to returning to Nepal to trek with him again.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Dear Nepal Environmental Trekking Co.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Nepal Environmental Trekking Co., Mr. Nava Raj , Mr. Ganesh, and especially to the greatest guide around - Dinesh.

We attempted the ABC trek. ……and we have had a great time during the trek, all because Dinesh is a very sensitive guide. he sings to keep our spirits up when we are tired. I don't think words are enough to describe how great a guide he is. We will be back and we will still want Dinesh as our guide.

……We would like to congratulate Nepal Environmental Trekking on a job well done !

Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek

Hello potential trekkers,

The purpose of this note is to recommend (highly) the services of Nepal Environmental Trekking (P.) Ltd. My new wife and I went on an almost month-long trek to Kanchenjunga base camps November 2000. Our lead sirdar/sherpa was Ang Kaji Sherpa, and our head cook was Pradeep kumar Karki. It was fabulous….I have literally hundreds of pictures including wild blue mountain goats at Pang Pema, the incredibly old Gompa at Ghunsa, and numerous faces of Nepali villagers we met along the way. The food was tasty and healthy, we never got sick once along the way and were given plenty of water for drinking and washing. Despite a premature and unexpected snowstorm at Sele La Kaji Sherpa led us the way back down to Tseram. Everything was expertly provided for us. They are environmentally conscious. There are no hidden cost along the way (we could have gotten along fine without bringing any money if we did not really need those cokes or beers on the way back). I wish I knew what else to say to convince you. Kanchenjunga is a difficult camping trek and we encountered a number of trekkers along the way who had various problems with their staff or their food. Everybody on our staff (22 including temporary porters) was considerate and great and I'd like to think we've made a couple of real friends. Please feel free to e-mail me directly if you want to verify or further clarify recommendation….I can't say enough about these guys.

Sincerely,

The Langtang trek is very nice and had some very spectacular sight. ……………

Ramesh(the guide) and Raj Kumar(the porter) took very good care of us. Not only during the trek but also afterwards.

This agency also helps you with arranging things outside scoop of the trekking. We are very satisfied with the guide service and can highly recommend this agency. If we ever comeback to Nepal we surely arrange the trekking here again.

Jomsom Muktinath Trek

"If you can t decide whether you want a guide with Nepal Environmental, please read this! I had the same problem 14 days ago. I walked into the office reluctantly, because I had been traveling alone for 3 months around South East Asia, and was not about to hire a guide, let alone allow a company to hire one for me!" "However after speaking with the managing Director and remembering a conversation I had had with a friend who trekked in Nepal several times, I changed my perspective on things. First Nava Raj, the director, seemed very perceptive and caring, and I tusked that he would hire similar people to work for his company. In fact, this was the case. My guide, Krishna, was extremely kind, competent, trust worthy, and most of all, professional. I met several guides and porters along my trek to Kagbeni and back, and not all of them seemed 100% caring, component. I ran into one woman who was having a problem with her guide. HOWEVER I met about 10-12 guides/porters from Nepal Environmental, and not only did I find them to be warm, fun, and competent, but so did their trekkers. It seems to me that Nava Raj has a unique ability to select
1) very wonderful people to work for him, and
2) to have the intuitive sense to know which guides to pair with which trekkers."

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Dear Mr. Dahal,
Thank you so much for organizing our trek to ABC in late September 1999. For me it was the absolute experience of lifetime and I am sure that I will be coming back again to your wonderful country this time with my family to spend more time.

Whilst the trek itself was spectacular I believe that a major part of our experience was the great friendship and care shown to us by our guide Rajendra and the porters. These guys were simply the best and added to our trip with their sense of fun and fantastic service. Having a guide, put a whole different perspective on our trip, as every where we went along the way we were made to feel part of a bigger group when we met other guides and porters.……………………

Having someone get you a hot cup of tea, checking you for leeches, checking your room for you to make sure that you haven't left anything behind are all little things that add to your trip/experience.

Once again I would like to thank you for organizing our trek for us and would highly recommended Nepal Environmental Trekking to anyone looking to have an experience of a life time.

Langtang Helambu Trek

"My friend and I have done Langtang Helambu trek for 14 days, and I can deeply suggest to do trekking with Nepal Environmental Trekking (P) Ltd. . We had a very experienced and friendly guide named Hari Krishna Sapkota, who made it easy for us to enjoy the beauty of the Himalayan Mountains. Our cook did also an excellent job and we were happy to have really good and healthy food after a long day walk. Our porters were also very friendly and open. We often spend nights, talking about their culture and other things. I have to say it again, that this company with its friendly and personal atmosphere really made me happy and probably gave me impressions which will stay a whole life."

Annapurna Circuit Trek

Where to start? Well, first of all, we have just arrived back from our 3 week Annapurna circuit trek. Before departure we d inquired with a few trekking companies and Nepal Environmental were by far the best. They are professional, really knew the stuff and really did make us feel very welcome. I cannot recommend them highly enough. All in all, you can t go wrong with Nepal Environmental and our praise for them, and especially for Khan, cannot be high enough. Nepal is a wonderfully magical and beautiful place, and with the help of these guys, Nepal will definitely steal a little bit of your heart."

Thank you for making our trek a fun and memorable experience for all our family

Dear Sir,
I am writing to tell you how much we enjoyed the trek which you organized for us. As we have three children we were a little concerned about how it would go and how they would cope. However, we were all very well taken care of. Our guide, Bijoy and, two porters, were all very friendly and helpful in every way. Initially our four year old was not pleased about having to be carried by someone she did not know, but, it did not take long for her to get to know Ram and he was very good with her. As we were a family, we were a bit slower than most trekkers but we did not feel as if we were being pushed to go faster and the guide and porters were very patient and happy to go at our pace. The lodges we stayed in along the way were very good and once again our guide and porters made sure that we had everything we needed.

Initially we were concerned about trekking through an organization, paying too much money and not getting a fair deal. However we were very happy with the rate we paid and what we received for our money. We would thoroughly recommend your organization to anyone waiting to trek in Nepal.

Thank you for making our trek a fun and memorable experience for all our family.

First trek in Nepal

This is our first trek in Nepal. We only have one week here so we booked just a small trek (4days). We were met by Santosh, the cook + 4 porters which were organised by NEPAL ENVIRONMENTAL. Over the 4 day period Santosh and his team did everything possible to make our trek as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We have made good friends over the last 4 days and hope to return to Nepal in the near future where our first part of call will be NEPAL ENVIRONMENTAL.

We did the Ghorepani-Poon Hill-Ghandruk trek

We did the Ghorepani-Poon Hill-Ghandruk trek with Hari as our guide and Dil as our porter. It was Extra ordinarily beautiful, especially Poon Hill and Ghandruk. But what really made it a wonderful trek was Hari-a humblingly kind and gentle man, incredibly thoughtful, patient with us when we were slow or late attentive to every need;knowledgeabl lively and interesting and clearly kind and respected by the people on the villages we passed through. So we can recommend highly enough that you try to trek with Hari.

Everest Base Camp trek from Jiri

Today I came back after a 24 days trekking to Everest Base Camp. We started from Jiri, which is a good thing to do since you see beautiful views, it’s very quiet and it’s a good preparation for the mountains. My guide’s name was Bhimsen Paneru and he’s a great guy ! Unfortunately I got sick twice (Altitude Sickness ).but Bhimsen took good care of me ! He decided to go down and was very caring. After that we tried again and we had some stunning views ! So hereby I can recommend this trip !

Helambu –Gosainkunda – Langtang trek

We did the Helambu –Gosainkunda – Langtang trek. The trek itself was very good, hard physical work but very rewarding, especially the views on the pass and the Cherco Ri. Our guide Santosh could tell a lot about the region and its history. We had lot of fun!

It was my first in the mountains of Nepal and I loved it! It was hard work but afterwards it was all worth it.

We had a lot of fun with our guide Santosh and our porter Ashok. We were well taken care of with the food and our wished to sleep sometimes in another lodge than planned.
So I would really recommend the trip and this organization and guide !

TO NAVA & NEPAL ENVIRONMENTAL TREKS

We had a great time trekking in the Annapurna Sanctuary with 3 adults & 4 children (aged 6, 6, 8, and 8). Our service was great from the start all the way to the end, the sun & snow! The children loved Ratna, Dharma, Hari & Sherpa! The guide Mr. Ratna was patience with the children & very encouraging to all of us. We learnt more about Nepal & the mountains & will always remember our family trek with your company.

Our trek around Manaslu, the Tsum Valley and Nar-Phu Vally

Thanks to all of you for making our trek around Manaslu, the Tsum Valley and Nar - Phu Valley so memorable. To Nava for your professionalism and help with giving us itinerary we wanted and making the arrangements- you made our lives easier. To all our porters for their hard work and willingness to walk the extra hour so we could carry where we wanted. To Ram, our Manaslu add Nar-Phu porter for carrying both our heavy packs over 2 high passes while we were panic and sweating with our tiny light weight bages. And especially to Ram, who looked after us so well for 29 days that we feel like we have made a really good friend Ram, you were the perfect guide for us- thanks for teaching us “call break”, for your good humour, for always finding us a bed for the night (even when it seemed impossible) and for asking extra chilli with our Dal Bhat. You gave us lots of great idea for the next trek so we will be sure to look you up next time we will in Nepal.

Thanks again to everyone at Nepal Environmental Trekking for making this trip a really memorable one!

Everest Base Camp- Kala Patthar trek during October

Nepal Environmental Treks were good from the beginning. Our trek to Everest Base Camp met all our expectation and more. Thanks to Nava for his advance, Raj for his guidance and Don for portering.

Everything worked like clockwise and Raj made the trip very smooth for us-including the trekking! As one of our groups was Polish, Raj’s knowledge of some of the Polish language was a fabulous. I don’t think here are too many Polish-speaking guides in Nepal!
The accommodation and food exceeded our expectation- Daal and Bhat were definitely a dinner: 24 hour power.

Raj also was helpful with other issues beyond the trek, such as our Nepal treip, and he was a great source and advice and wisdom. Overall, this trip comes highly recommended and we had a great time with Nava’s company.

PS.SEPER WYCIECZKA, SUPER PREWODMIK! WHEN WE COME BACK TO NEPAL IN THE FUTURE WE WILL ASK FOR RAJ TO BE OUR GUIDE AGAIN! NOT OFTEN YOU MEET NEPALESE WITH POLISH BACKGROUND :-)
