Lower Manaslu trek is a costly trek into the laps of Mt. Manaslu (8156m). It gives you an opportunity to explore the culture and tradition of the native Nepalese, Nubri, Tsum and Bhutias. Lower Manaslu trek basically is a moderate trek offering experience of historical tour, pilgrimage tour, agro tourism and community based home stay.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Kurinitar takes about three and half hours and cable car to Manakamana (1302 m.).

Day 02: Trek from Manakamana to Pipalchap/Baskot (1170m.) takes about five hours.

Day 03: Trek from Laprak to Barpak (1950m.) takes about five hours.

Day 04: Trek from Pipalchap/Baskot to Khanchok (930m) takes about seven hours.

Day 05: Trek from Khanchok to Tallo Thotnery (1685m.) takes five hours.

Day 06: Trek from Tallo Thotnery to Sambe Kharka (2915m.) takes about six hours.

Day 07: Trek from Sambe Kharka to Laprak (2100m.) takes about four hours.

Day 08: Trek from Barpak to Sirandada (1990m.) takes about six hours.

Option A

The Trip includes following services:

  • Airport pick-up and drop-off services by private A/C car or Van
  • Entry Permit for National Park/Conservation Area
  • Trekkers' Information Management system (TIMS) card
  • Trekking guide/s and Sherpa/s
  • Porter (1 porter carries 25 kilograms of luggage)
  • All meals three times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
  • Accommodation in Lodge (Tea house) during the trek
  • Sleeping bags, down jackets & duffel bags if required.
  • All land transportation wherever applicable
  • Insurance and equipment's for trekking staffs
  • First aid kit
  • Rescue assistance (Should any emergency arise during your trek, we will provide prompt and professional rescue and medical services. For this, it would be better to have your own travel insurance that can cover helicopter evacuation and medical treatment cost in case required.
  • One farewell dinner in Kathmandu with live cultural performance at authentic Nepali restaurant on the last evening
