Panchase Trek is one of the short camping trips around Pokhara valley. You can enjoy closer mountain views of Annapurna Himal, Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri Himal, Fishtail or Macchpuchhre, Himchuli and many others along the Panchase Trek. The opportunity to observe mid-hill cultural life and experience the total wilderness is another notable feature of the trek. Day 01: The drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.) takes about seven hours.

Day 02: Trek from Pokhara to Bumdi (1525m.) and it takes about five hours.

Day 03: Trek from Bumdi to Bhanjyang (2000m.) which takes about six hours.

Day 04: Trek from Bhanjyang to Tilahar (1020m.) via Panchase (2509m.

Day 05: Trek from Tilahar to Dobate (2655m.)

Day 06: Trek from Dobate to Jaljale (2975m.)

Day 07: Trek from Jaljale to Ghorepani (2856m.) via Poon Hill

Day 08: Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3180m.) to Hille (1475m.)

Day 09: Trek from Hille to Nayapul (1050m.) via Birethanti

Day 10: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Day 01: The drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.) takes about seven hours.

This drive will take most of the morning, leaving much of the afternoon to fall in love with its beauty.

Pokhara is tourist's paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with mountains. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 02: Trek from Pokhara to Bumdi (1525m.) and it takes about five hours.

Day 03: Trek from Bumdi to Bhanjyang (2000m.) which takes about six hours.

Day 04:Trek from Bhanjyang to Tilahar (1020m.) via Panchase (2509m. and it takes about six hours.

Day 05: Trek from Tilahar to Dobate (2655m.) which takes about six hours.

Day 06: Trek from Dobate to Jaljale (2975m.) and it takes about six hours.

Day 07:Trek from Jaljale to Ghorepani (2856m.) via Poon Hill which takes about five and half hours.

Day 08: Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3180m.) to Hille (1475m.) which takes about five hours.

Early morning trip to Poon Hill (3232m.) to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhre (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other numerous snowcapped mountain peaks. After breakfast, you follow a gradually descending path through the forests of rhododendron and oak to Banthanti which is a small village where you can pause for hot and cold drinks. The trail then descends to Ulleri (1960m.), a big Gurung village from where you can enjoy views of Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre and Hiunchuli. From here the trail to Tirkhedhunga is a steep descent passing terraces and some villages. After a short walk of 15 minutes from Tirkhedhunga, you reach Hille. It is also a small Gurung village with surrounding green hills. Most of the inhabitants of this village are occupied in agriculture.

Day 09: Trek from Hille to Nayapul (1050m.) via Birethanti and it takes almost three hours and drive from Nayapul to Pokhara which takes about one and half hours.

This day’s trek gradually descends following Bhurung Khola (Bhurung Stream) all the way to Birethanti before you cross the Modi Khola over the suspension bridge. You are amazed to pass small villages and see the magnificent waterfalls as well as walking through the sparse forests.

Day 10: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu takes about seven hours.

While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you head up to Damauli, Dumre, Muglin and Kurintar where Nepal's first Cable car is operated to reach to Manakamana Temple. En route, you can enjoy mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and people being engaged in their daily life activities. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to the capital city. You can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes about 25 minutes.

The Trip includes following services:

  • Rescue assistance (Should any emergency arise during your trek, we will provide prompt and professional rescue and medical services. For this, it would be better to have your own travel insurance that can cover helicopter evacuation and medical treatment cost in case required.
  • One farewell dinner in Kathmandu with live cultural performance at authentic Nepali restaurant on the last evening
  • Souvenir (t-shirt, mug, pen, bag, etc.)
