Island Peak- also called Imja Tse- is probably one of the most popular climbing peaks in Nepal. Standing 6,189m in height, it is almost always the first choice for many mountain climbers before taking on bigger mountains. The top of Island Peak offers magnificent close-up views of the world's highest mountains including Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu and many others.
