Mardi Himal, 5,587m, is located in the Annapurna Range. It lies 15 miles north of Pokhara and is the smallest peak expedition. It is also one of the easiest peak climbing and doesn't necessarily require previous peak climbing experience. The peak was first climbed by Jimmy Roberts in 1961 through the route on it's West flank. It is the only recorded route on climbing the peak. Machhapuchhre is located on the South-West side.This peak provides splendid view of the Annapurna range, Mt, Fishtail, dense rhododendron forest, bamboo bushes, beautiful valley to the south and alpine pastures that provides habitat for wild animals.

Day 07: Acclimatization day.

Day 08: Trek from Pipa to Thulo Kharka (4,120m).

Day 09: Trek from Thulo Kharka to Base Camp (4,100m).

Day 10: Acclimatization day.

Day 11: Climb from Base Camp to High Camp (4,650m).

Day 12: Climb from High Camp to Camp 1.

Day 13: Camp 2.

Day 14: Climb Mardi Himal (5,555m) and back to Base Camp.

Day 15: Trek from Mardi Himal Base Camp to Korchon (3,680m).

Day 20: Departure

Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.

On your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be met and welcomed by our airport representative. You will be greeted traditionally with flower garlands. The representative will then take you to your hotel where you will be served welcome drinks. In the afternoon, you can take a stroll around and visit shops, restaurants and bars. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu for preparation of the trip.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.) takes about seven hours.

After early morning breakfast, our guide will pick you-up from your hotel to bus station. Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.) takes about seven hours. This drive will take most of the morning, leaving much of the afternoon to explore the various sites of Pokhara.

Pokhara is tourist's paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with mountains. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 18: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu takes about seven hours.

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu takes about seven hours. While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you head up to Damauli, Dumre, Muglin and Kurintar where Nepal's first Cable car is operated to reach to Manakamana Temple. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to capital city of Kathmandu.

Day 19: Free day in Kathmandu for shopping or you can go for city tour.

Day 20: Departure

As per your flight schedule, our airport representative will transfer you from your hotel to the airport for your final departure.

The price includes the following services:

  • Peak climbing permit
  • Climbing guide / Sirdar (One climbing guide for 4 climbers)
  • One trekking guide/leader
  • Necessary porters including a cook (some nights will be camping and will require cook and cooking utensils)
  • All meals three times a day during the trek/climb (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
  • Accommodations in tea houses (lodges) and some nights for camping
  • Necessary trekking/camping equipment such as tents, mattresses, sleeping    bags, down jackets, cooking utensils, etc.
