Dudhkunda lake (4,560m) is in the lap of Mt. Numbur and is quickly becoming a new popular trekking destination in Everest region. The Dhudkunda Khaling Trek takes you through dense forests of rhododendron and experience a variety of wildlife combined with cultures of Rai community. Dudhkunda literally means ‘milky lake’ and is regarded a sacred lake.
This Pikey Peak 13,500 ft. entwines with the Chyabe across east to west. It’s name, Pikey, comes from the two titles of the Sherpas. The month of July is a time of great celebration as the locals worship their clan god, the eastern Chyabo Pikey, as Pikey Hlapchen Karbu in the celebrations.
Tamang Heritage trek is one of the newly opened treks which combine an enchanting journey into Tamang culture of the North and magnificent mountain views. Trekking through Tamang villages gives you a wonderful opportunity to closely observe the community’s lifestyle, culture and crafts such as basket weaving.

Jaljala, located in Thabang Village Development Committee (VDC) of the Rolpa district is one of the newly opened trekking areas in Nepal. A visit to Jaljala in the spring time transports you to a magical land with a colorful carpet of wild blossoms, green meadows and Rhododendron forests.
Numbur Cheese Circuit Trek is one of the recently opened new trekking routes in Nepal. Numbur Cheese Circuit takes you on a picturesque passage through two river valleys namely Khimti and Likhu valleys, which are nestled on the foothills of Everest and Rolwaling region respectively.
Indigenous People's Trail presents a unique opportunity for an intimate exploration of one of the most culturally diverse areas of Nepal. The trail is home to several indigenous communities, namely Sherpa, Newar, Thami, Tamang, Yolmo and Majhi. The pristine forests of Sailung, Rajveer, Augleshwori, Galba and Khandadevi offer a ecological heaven for such wildlife as pheasant, deer and Langur monkeys.
Tsum Valley is one of the few unexplored trekking routes in the Himalayas, lying close to Tibet. Referred to as ‘Beyul Kyimolung’, or the ‘holy hidden valley of happiness’, it is one of the most sacred Buddhist places in the Himalayan region. Tsum Valley was opened for trekking as recent as 2007.
