Mt. Himlung (7126m) is listed one of the difficult seven-thousanders for mountaineers. It is located along Nepal-Tibet/China border in the Manaslu region. The area itself is a culturally and naturally protected area and is considered remote by all standards. Therefore special permits will be required by the climbers for approaching the mountain for climbing.
The mountain has steep ridges, rocks and ice that need to be tackled. A full fledged expedition will to be mounted on with the help of our experienced Sherpa climbers and high altitude porters.
The base camp will be set up at 5000m, a vantage point to acclimatize and observe the mountain.. Two additional camps, Camp I (5900m) and Camp II (6400) will be made before the final launch on the summit. The summit will offer splendid views of Manaslu and Annapurna ranges.
Along the way you could enjoy traditional Nepali hospitality and culture, pristine wildlife, rivers, forests and beautiful Himalayan views. The upper reaches of Nar and Phu villages are inhabited by people of Tibetan descent who still practices Tibetan way of life.
